Yes, it's fine, the thickness of the material doesn't matter.

Copper comes in different grades: M00, M0, M1, M2 and M3. The grade is determined by the purity of the copper content. M1p, M2p and M3p copper contain 0.01% oxygen and 0.04% phosphorus. Copper grades M1, M2 and M3 contain 0.05–0.08% oxygen.

Brass might be better not so easy to oxidize...or protected from moisture PURE COPPER...(aluminum, zinc,etc)

You'll have bigger losses on DIELECTRICS than metal every time

Two ports for a TP-Link MR-100 router outdoor antenna, it has 2 sma antennas, and I want to replace them for better signal gain, as the router cannot fitted outside, because need protection from rain.

I made a biquad in antenna-magus, exported to CST, and then doubled the elements making also a larger reflector.

it is better to make 2 separated biquad antennas with individual reflector each

they gonna work better

and with 2 separate you can experiment with -45 +45 polarization etc

For this construction and calculating dimensions for 2.44Ghz biquad, should the 2 sma's be isolated mount on reflector?

Also, I'm trying to simulate a Kathrein antenna element for 3.5Ghz, but results on CST look very bad, I like this Kathrein design and if anybody wants to try making some corrections on this it would be a good antenna to use as dish feeder
