The antenna must work both for reception and transmission, so its range is from 890 (880) to 960 MHz, where the 890-915 MHz range provides transmission from the cell phone to the base station, and the 935-960 MHz range provides transmission from the base station to the phone.

A suspended plate patch antenna is an analogue of a microstrip antenna. Its advantage is its small size and ease of manufacture.

These are two plates and an L-shaped vibrator. The antenna elements can be made of copper, brass, or aluminum.
