I built this Wi-Fi antenna using the 8-disc model from the Aerial website. It works well, but I have a lot of signal loss mainly because I live in a building (on the fifth floor) and the ocean is in front of me. I have no choice but to point it sideways (through my bedroom window) toward an area where there are only more apartments that block the signal. I just wanted to post this here and get your opinions. My goal is to connect to the Wi-Fi network of a hotel that is to the right of my building, about 200 meters away. I have connected before, but at times the speed drops to 0 kb and then goes back up. I'm using a TP-Link 227N v2 Wi-Fi adapter (I think that's what it is). I'm attaching a photo of how I made the "connection." I plan to build an antenna with more directors in the near future... Greetings from Cuba.
