is a great design you can USE the length you want , taking directors OUT from the TIP back (reducing GAIN)
the BALUN losses and bandwidth is of most importance

so far i'm using
Boom 15x15 square (1mm)
tubing 8mm (1mm thick)
DIPOLE 15 x 2 mm
12dbi could be achieve with 7 + 3 elements BANDWIDTH is the hard thing to achieve (More than 50mhz)

How many elements...GAIN...? do you need
and WHICH KANAL ?
what tubes do you have?
-
from 690 to 770 you could use a NORMAL tube dipole NOT FOLDED but TUNING the TUBE's diameter
-
BALUN 1:1 if 50 ohms...needed (otherwise rf runs trough coax shield and resonance effects occur over cable shield)
Pawsey stub (3cms) INNER CONDUCTOR NOT CONNECTED! QUARTER WAVE to FR center

learn that...(the hard way)

if you want more GAIN , new shape and area should be SIMULATED to see it doesn't harm the original specs...VSWR , Impedance , diagram (lobes) bandwidth ,etc
Flat area plates are the safest to use

Any FLAT plate are would do...the bigger the BETTER.

Is it MiMo the dongle...? Two antennas...
-
-
It depends on the DISH , F/D ratio . offset or center feed...?
you'll be trying to achieve 70% efficiency (illumination) or more if possible.

if you have two connectors...do you know the frecuencies EACH connector covers...
Is the whole bandwidth 100khz to 1.7 ghz...? (or more)
divided into TWO antennas...
-
I'll try that VIVALDI on FR4 i'll tell later how it went
-
Can you burn your own PCB...?
we could dig up some design...
in HF, VHF and UHF

700mm the one i'm working on...i'll tell you if it works
all 8 mm tubes and double flat strip 15x2mm folded dipole and balun included (just put the cable tv in the antenna STRAIGHT)
