  1. An antenna with dual polarized, dual ports design, unexpected good results!!! RoundPatch.cst
  2. Hi, don't find a way to do this, please tell me and I'll move it
  3. May the double port cause the lower dbi gain or the whole parts placement, also I did not add a component in this, it's a testing project and someone that knows more than me could modify it
  4. An antenna with dual polarized, dual ports design, unexpected good results!!! RoundPatch.cst
  5. Please, I need to make an antenna dish feeder (ISP antenna over 1km away), for TCL HH500V router, which supports only N78 antennas (Vodafone Greece 3.4-3.8 GHz), on double TS9 ports. So, looking online tried to calculate a dual polarized patch panel construction, and must know if the attached diagram is good for my construction. The dimensions are on the attached .pdf file. I don't have and I don't know how to simulate this project in a simulator. Could anyone simulate, correct it or suggest something else for this configuration? Thank you. YG: I learned a lot from these posts, thank you all for posting them online. PatcPanel.pdf
  6. Corrected drawing BesterTEST.cst
  7. Based on pre-cuted brass disks by Aliexpress (also there are copper disks): (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005008356725365.html?spm=a2g0o.cart.0.0.341d38daIYDifj&mp=1&pdp_npi=5%40dis!EUR!EUR 3.35!EUR 3.08!!EUR 2.92!!!%40211b876717506983783034052ec3c6!12000044708261645!ct!GR!169332860!!1!0 I made the attached antenna based on standard dimensions so that can be easy constructed. I think the results are good enough, but I don't like the farfields output, anybody to check and suggest corrections on it but without changing disk sizes, maybe distances? Hexagonal spacers 6mm, 2XSMA/90 degrees and 30mm from center. BesterTEST.cst
  8. Trying to design and test different antennas, I post my .cst files for everyone that wants to redraw or recalculate them, or even to have some ready to 1.cst 3.52-1ghz.cst 3.52-2ghz.cst 3.52ghz.cst 3.52ghz-new.cst 3.52ghz-ShortTubes.cst 4-Planar.cst 4-Planar-BASE.cst 4-ROUNDS.cst 4-ROUNDS-ports.cst 4-SHEETS.cst 3300-3800 MHz BESTER.cst 3300-3800-OPT.cst 3300-3800-OPT-BRASS.cst 5645BiQuad.cst Antenna1.cst Batwing.cst BatwingCrossDUAL.cst Bester3Disks-2.4.cst BesterSquare.cst BesterSquare-3.5.cst BesterSquareShort.cst BesterSquareSMA.cst BesterSquareSMA-3.5.cst BesterSquareSMA-4G.cst BiQuad-CROSS.cst BiQuad-NEO.cst DISH.cst KATH-DRAW.cst KATH-DRAW-BASIC.cst KathreinPLAN.cst Round-Planar.cst SquarePatchYagi-2.4.cst SquarePatchYagi-3.5.cst T-Antenna.cst
  9. Ignore second image, wrong drawing
  10. According to all Bester plans, please what should be the placement of dual polarized antenna, in vertical position or in a rotation of 30°? Thank you.
  11. Seeking for something similar but no luck, so decided to go on by trying different procedures on design according to this one:https://www.rfelement.com/products-72.html
  12. Thank you my friend, I'm new on CST design but trying to learn by seeking online for help, also continue to design different models and simulate them for knowledge. I liked the Kathrein antenna design that is simple and very stable and trying to make a prototype at 3.5GHz center frequency and a bandwidth of 3.3-3.8 because that is the working 5G area in Greece
  13. OLE, I think getting better by working on CST, that's my new design for a similar to Kathrein element, not so good but looks to work, also if mounted on a parabolic dish, maybe it give much more gain. Now trying to decrease the VSWR KathreinPLAN.cst
  14. Also, I'm trying to simulate a Kathrein antenna element for 3.5Ghz, but results on CST look very bad, I like this Kathrein design and if anybody wants to try making some corrections on this it would be a good antenna to use as dish feeder 4-Planar.cst
  15. I'll try to draw and simulate both of them on CST
  16. Or is better to go on this?
  17. For this construction and calculating dimensions for 2.44Ghz biquad, should the 2 sma's be isolated mount on reflector?
  18. Have a look at this: https://www.printables.com/model/886120-lte-4g-biquad-antenna-806mhz/files
  19. Two ports for a TP-Link MR-100 router outdoor antenna, it has 2 sma antennas, and I want to replace them for better signal gain, as the router cannot fitted outside, because need protection from rain. I made a biquad in antenna-magus, exported to CST, and then doubled the elements making also a larger reflector.
  20. Dual Port Biquad, correct and suggestions please Biquad.cst
  21. I think it is better 3300-3800-OPT.cst
  22. Modified the antenna but I'm getting errors, by your free time have a look and correct it please 3300-3800-1 MHz BESTER.cst
  23. You mean to attach a yagi-disk as director into a cantenna but using probes for signal as in cantenna? Or just put the whole construction in cantenna box for better performance? Cannot understand this plan.
  24. I'm not sure about tubes height, I'll try to lower tubes at a distance of 1/4λ as this is the proposed distance I have seen online samples
