Wi Fi Extender Yagi-Antenna for Routers

A solution to the distant wireless connectivity problem is mounting a high gain, directive antenna at the wireless hotspot / access point. Then, users with wi-fi enabled devices can enjoy faster and more distant broadband. For the ultimate in long range wireless broadband, high gain antennas should be used at both ends - and not simply at the client's location. As to power levels, moderate power should be used: 23 dBm to 27 dBm. There are plenty of powerful wi fi routers available in this range or higher. Certainly, avoid the weak units running less than 20 dBm.

In the long distance wi fi router project shown here, a high gain wi-fi yagi antenna was used for greatly increasing the range and effectiveness of an access point.

Is it possible to get dimensions used in this project?

If somebody is interested in this you can find a model on thingiverse but its important how you attach this yagi on the router antenna. It influences the swr strongly. I found it works best at the start or end of the antenna like in the pictures and worst in the middle. Best is to try some positions from top to down and look on the signal strength on the receiving end.
