Quazi-BowTie Antenna

Most of you know for BOW TIE antenna for TV reception..

so few days back i decided to try to build one for wi-fi 2.4.

This time i also use aluminum 1.5mm electric wire..even i can use copper wire 

just to see how work with aluminum...

anyway most of antennas are build with aluminum.

measures are standard ... distance of each element by holder is half wave L/2

size of element is full wave , angle in element is 60 deg

Dimensions are  standard for bow tie  L/2 distance from elements and L/4 until curved

I want to build this antenna, so I have some questions/suggestions:

1. What is impedance of this antenna? Can it be connected directly to 50 Ohm cable?
2. What are dimensions of reflector and spacing between it and directors in simulation?
3. Length of the director's parts should be 31mm to change working frequency to 2.45 GHz.
4. If a copper wire is used, the antenna elements should be soldered together.
5. How about make simulation with straight "V" directors (each arm 61mm length, connected with angle 30 degrees)?

1)- impedance=250-300 Ohm

2) - spacing between it and directors<<lambda/2

3)-no

4)-yes

5)-it must to be simulated

I'm interested in the transition from 300Ohm to 50Ohm. But if there are sizes at 2600, I'll do it !!!!!!!!!!!!

I changed the reflector size to 175x235 mm and parameters of my bowtie antenna for 2.4 GHz were improved:
dBi (2.442 GHz) = 15.76, S-Parameter [magnitude dB] = -36.50, VSWR = 1.03, Impedance = 48.57.

Soon I will try to build and test this antenna with my USB wifi dongle adapter.

BALUN 1:1  if 50 ohms...needed (otherwise rf runs trough coax shield and resonance effects occur over cable shield)

Last version of my wifi bowtie antenna. Again, I increased the dimensions of the reflector to 200x260mm. This improved the parameters of the simulated antenna, presented in the images below. The prototype of this design is almost ready, I'm just waiting for a cable and connectors from China. Prepare for a big test with my wifi adapter and also I will measure the real parameters with NanoVNA-F v2. I hope this antenna will work ;)
