I did built it...It's amazing...APs keep poping up...and isn't critical to point it...My Best antenna so far...(Adapted an minipci wlan card to it) it digs up more Routers than my wn722n...

How to connect 4 zigZag elements 

i have crazy idea!

Is there image of feed point conections for alredy made 4 zigzag with 4 elements ?

What Mike said.

To achieve the same inductance with a LOT more wire requires wider spacing.

Then why not just use a small cylinder coil?
capture area because the loop is not just the inductor but also the antenna.

fig1a-side rhombus1 = 0.25 * lambda
fig1b-side rhombus1 = 0.25 * lambda
        -side rhombus 2 = 0.5 * lambda
fig1c-side rhombus 2 = 0.5 * lambda

i think it was 41 mm with PE insulator...

The GOO is silicone insulation...(if i build it agai i WOULDN'T put it...you know losses)

most critical is parallel feed line (9 to 10mm depending on wire diameter) thicker wire bigger distances...i used 1.5mm and it works like a CHARM ,

distance to reflector is NOT that critical (it's a very forgiving antenna) around 3 cm...

less distance MORE GAIN and VSWR

More distance LOWER gain and vswr

BALUN is MOST CRITICAL

USE the MINIMUN possible ISOLATORS Polystyrene foam (styrofoam low density could be used to replace insulators)

Thanks  clanon....what if I use  lambda /4  balun  it's easy and  make the antenna more solid ( stronger ). Becuz this antenna looks so fragile  and.  I m asking if I have to shorten the coax cable to reflecter if I make 4:1 balun ?

it NEEDs to be

4 (200ohms twin feed line Z)

to

1 (50ohms cable and radio)

CAN'T use a 1:1 like on dipole...

It is just a piece of coax with 2 solder points (lead)...and the shields alltogether (3)

I  had read that lambda/4  bazouka balun it's possible too ( 31 mm )   and if I use strong thick support (isolater )  fixed with screw and adjustable distance  ?  It's miss the performance?;

That's 1:1 balun  ...NO IMPEDANCE transformation AFAIK...you need a 4:1

75ohms/50ohms= 1.5 VSWR +

200ohms/50ohms= VSWR...

silicne is  so week and  cannot  resist  to hot temperature  it will melt  and lose its lenght..... i willing to make  strong antenna
