Directional antenna 2.4 Ghz band of the FA20

I have tried many times to make a simulation at this antenna but I was never satisfied with its results.

 

 

So I made a change to it, and I got some good results, especially with regard to the frequency bandwidth

i know...my setting for the solver and or mi discrete port location must be REALLY OFF...

jomy It's possible to add  add  rectangular directors to the half  Fa 20 get more gain close to the FA20  at least get smaller antenna ?

Lan23 guys  tried that...(i did )

Fa20 Patches doesn't like DIRECTORS...reactivity and diagram goes "ape shit crazy"

this is the best i could do...16 dbi on 6 or 8 patches (20 cm by 18)

Alot of loss ! It's just 17.5 DBI I think 3/4 Fa 20  it's better but I don't have the right dimensions of it

nope , you need at least 6 patches and flaps...for that
