  1. antenna

,,,can someone be interested in something like this///...???
  2. ,,, the antenna is not well designed, it needs a stub...
  3. A new small, low-profile and light-weight helical antenna element was designed for 2,1-2,4GHz-band communications. The novelty of the antenna is that its input impedance matching has been improved by adjusting the copper strip matching stub, while its circular polarization performance has been enhanced by changing the parasitic radiation patch loaded in the front of the antenna.
  4. This is my oldest yagi-patch antenna project which I will try to optimize on the 2.442GHz frequency
  5. ,,,these would be the results... to see the axial ratio in CST, you should look at "Farfields" section in the simulated results... there should be a drop down list after simulating the design. if you click on that drop down list you should be able to see the axial ratio plot... The default plot is in 3D format, if you want to plot it on polar form, you need to right click on a farfield result and select "Far field plot properties", In the "General" tab select "polar" for the "plot type" and choose the values for "Theta" & "Phi" according to the orientation of your design. Then select "apply" to see the results
  6. Here are some quick notes about the parabolic type dish antennas you might find. The actual antenna is a normal half wave dipole with an integrated balun and is located inside the sealed plastic cover. The mesh screen is the reflector which concentrates the RF energy onto the antenna. That is how dish antennas increase the received or transmitted power level. Also, wireless cable service providers frown upon giving away their used dishes as they think you're going to steal cable service.
  7. Hi buddy...!!!! ,,,what version of CST do you have...??? ,,,can you post the CST file..??
  8. 4G antenna BDM-2 is a wave channel with crack initiation, and the delay line is made of sequentially installed disk elements. Compared to the classical antenna BDM , new directional antenna BDM-2 is: More gain; Improved radiation pattern; More stable operating parameters; Greater reliability; Superior mechanical characteristics. Due to the small weight, a small sail and streamlined shapes, the antenna BDM-2 can be used in almost any climatic conditions. And corrosion-resistant materials of the antenna will ensure a long maintenance-free operation even in the marine climate. Specifications 4G/LTE antenna BDM-2: Antenna type Directed Beam width H/V ° 20/20 Frequency range, MHz 2600 MHz Polarization Linear orthogonal Gain, dBi 15-17 DBi depending on frequency of execution The CWS in RAB. the frequency range, not more 1.5 Max. input power,W 50 The weight of the antenna package, gr. 910 Input impedance, Ohm 50 Overall dimensions, mm Ф90 x 500 The operating temperature range, °C -40 .. +60 Performance All-weather, all - Connector (on the case) N-female x2
  9. ,,, yes, increase the diameter of the reflector (not too much) and increase the number of directors..!!!! ,,after a certain number of directors, the gain does not increase so much..!!!
  10. ,,, these would be the dimensions... ,,,and this is the CST file....!!! vivaldi rus.cst
  11. I don't think this so-called Vivaldi dipole is very good...
  12. ,,,something like this... 2021213791.pdf
  13. A cantenna ( blending the words can and antenna) is a homemade directional waveguide antenna, made out of an open-ended metal can. Cantennas are typically used to increase the range of (or discover) wi-fi networks. Although some designs are based on a can, this tube is too narrow to increase the 2.4 GHz signal by a useful amount, although at 5 GHz it would be about the right size. However, a cantenna can be made from various cans or tubes of an appropriate diameter. Some designs include a pole mount to elevate the cantenna.
  14. ,,,hi buddy...!!! ,,,from where did you get this Vivaldi antenna( you simulated something like that...???)..??? ,,,maybe this will help you...!!! https://www.changpuak.ch/electronics/Antipodal_Vivaldi_Antenna_Designer.php
  15. ,,,yes, both the central connector and the Teflon insulation can be shortened...!!!
  16. ,,,I considered it sensible to resume Aurel's idea from the beginning and to present a version of the Batwing wire antenna...
  17. Two long arms are connected in the shape of V to make a V-antenna. The two long arms are excited with 180˚ out of phase. As the length of these arms increases, the gain and directivity also increases. The following figure shows a V-antenna with the transmission line impedance z=200 Ohm and the lengh of the arm 0,8*lambda, making an angle Φm with the axis, which is called as apex angle.material-FR4 #1.5mm. The main advantage of a V-shaped antenna is its relatively small vertical radiation angle, which is especially important for establishing long-distance communications.
  18. Technical specification for manufacture of powerful antennas and high gain exclusively for FPV needs was consistent with the known Scientific-Production Center. The centre has a serious scientific potential, SOOOOO expensive equipment, modern production base and its patented production technology. The guys have been designing and manufacturing aerials for over 15 years and know about antennas just about anything, have experience of working with domestic manufacturers of UAV, FPV, therefore, subject them in part familiar and in this respect they have certain practices. Just what we needed: 1) Create an antenna that would have a large gain, comparable with the antenna "Yagi" in the popular FPV range 1160-1280Mhz. 2) To the antenna form factor was close to a patch antenna (for ease of placement on a tripod) 3) had an adequate angle of orientation, eliminating the need to use the rotary system for tracking the model at long distances Antenna gain from a 14.7 dB at the extreme frequencies of the range 1160Mhz 1280Mhz. Not difficult to guess that the gain in the middle of this range is significantly higher (the guys understand the task "literally"). This reinforcement is "not theoretical" and measured on real devices, on average, it in two times better than any patch. 2) the Antenna has dimensions of 400х400х25мм (including the case) 3) the Angle of orientation of the antenna about 40 degrees, which is not bad. Specifications : The most effective frequency range: 1160-1280Mhz The gain in the effective frequency range: 14,7 dB VSWR: less than 1.5 Polarization: linear vertical The radiation pattern Vert/Horiz: 40/40 degrees Input impedance: 50 Ohm Connector: N-type "mother" Weight: 2kg As we can see, the antenna is a... rather strange design four groups oval active elements. Between them the special material. The reflector is a metal substrate, the active elements in each group, TWO(!!!) (instead of one in the classic patch).
  19. Putting your phone You are giving the opportunity to the Manager in touch with you for the purchase: access Point wifi Ubiquiti NanoBridge M2 (NBM2)
  20. Here is another DIY antenna, this time for GSM/3G/4G usage. The design was calculated for 800-2100MHz and works well in this range. The antenna has a very broad bandwidth with a low gain and can be used for any application within the frequency range. Since the results are very good even up to 3GHz the antenna is also useful for WiFi. As well as ADS-B (flight radar) because 1090MHz is covered too. In general an excellent antenna for rtl-sdr operations. Based on this calculator.
